+------------------+
| lvsm vs. pirahna |
+------------------+

things lvsm has that piranha doesn't:

statistics monitoring
clear, non confusing gui
 - more integrated status reporting
 - gui always shows current status of cluster
 - piranha is a frankenstein monster composed of
two schitzophrenic personalities, fos and lvs
use of mon allows for more general (and customized) service monitoring
no need for 'cluster sync' tool because heartbeat it used for
 lvsd communications.

things pirahna does that lvsm doesn't:

non linux realservers
fos
 - their fos is an afterthought they glued on to the lvs stuff

+----------------------+
| lvsm vs. ultramonkey |
+----------------------+

both use lvs and heartbeat
ultramonkey uses linuxdirectord, lvsm uses lvsd
lvsd much better
 - dynamic configuration
 - gui interface

lvsm has gui w/ dynamic reconfiguration, status and statistics reporting.
